Fleeting People
So many people
Pass by through the day,
All the faces and footsteps
Of those who don’t stay.
At one point, you feel happy
Another, you’re sad,
At the end of the day
It’ll just make you mad.
All these people that come
Are the same ones who leave,
And you can’t understand it
You just don’t believe.
How the people you meet
Can be gone in a flash,
Whether you walk away
Or they never come back.
