About a month ago, downtown Rochester got a new bar/grill: Too Ra Loo!
This week, I got the chance to head over and check it out, and let me say, I love it! I went with a friend for dinner/drinks, and we were not disappointed.
I will say that going into it, I was a little unsure how of it would be because downtown Rochester has such an established dining scene, and I thought this was another Irish bar, similar to O’Connor’s.
Much to my surprise, though, it turned out that TRL actually has an Italian menu along with 80 different beers on tap! The food was really good (I got a burger and my friend got the pesto pasta), and the variety of beer and wine was fantastic. I think it will definitely become a popular downtown spot (similar to a Bar Louie/Rochester Mills feel) and maybe even a great “party” atmosphere once it gets bigger/more interest!
If you’ve been looking for somewhere new in the area to try, I’d definitely recommend checking out Too Ra Loo! And – if you’re looking for a job, they’re hiring!
